It's been a while

Hi everyone!

How’s it all going? It’s been a while, as Stained would say.

May I start by saying how sorry I am that I’ve taken so long to write. It’s been a crazy year of a lot downs with mental health issues and monetary woes. Anxiety and depression are two mental health issues that just don’t work together.

Any way, it’s now 2020, and what seemed like a real bad year last year, is nothing in comparison with the wallop of Covid-19 and the tragic and unforgivable death of George Floyd.

For me, it has been a time for self reflection, readjustment, and analysis. But, also, creativity and community.

With the help of my partner in crime Lee Christian, I’ve helped create an online show called Co-Video Breakdown. The aim was to showcase talent and promote small businesses on a global scale.

Each show has gone from strength to strength, and the guests have been amazing. Highlight being Ace from Skunk Anansie, Vernon Reid of Living Colour and Janelle Monae’s guitarist Kellindo.

As the UK lockdown is lifting, we are making our final episode this weekend, and hopefully we won’t have to do another series, as it would mean another lockdown.
